

-Pineapple tarts-
Undeterred by the failure of my brownies last week, I finally got down to baking pineapple tarts this week. Indeed it's a labour of love. What you take only less than 1 minute to eat took me 2 hours plus just for the dough. Not to mention the pineapple filling which had to be cooked over a slow fire for 1 hour plus. I really wonder how the ah-mas of bygone eras used to make all the CNY goodies without the help of modern kitchen tools?
